What better way to enjoy the beautiful start to falSummit County Parade of Homesl than attending the 25th Annual Summit County Parade of Homes. The Summit County Builders Association and The Summit Foundation team up each year to showcase newly constructed and newly remodeled homes throughout Summit County. The parade runs Saturday & Sunday 9.21, 9.22, 9.28 & 9.29.19, from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Admission is $20.00 for two weekends (4 days) and the proceeds benefit The Summit Foundation.

Since the tour lasts four days, there is no need to cram the viewing of all 11 homes into one day or weekend. Besides, home touring is more enjoyable when you can take your time!  Here is our recommendation for weekend number 1.

Start Here

First, make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time. Tickets are available at the City Markets in Breckenridge and Dillon, Alpine Bank branches in Breckenridge, Frisco and Dillon, Coldwell Banker offices in Breckenridge and Frisco, Mountain Comfort Furnishings in Frisco and Collective Design & Furnishings in Frisco. They can also be purchased online at SUMMITCOUNTYBUILDERS.ORG.

Next, make sure you fuel up before heading out. We recommend a stop at one of our favorite coffee shops, Red Buffalo Tea & Coffee. They have great breakfast sandwiches, burritos and coffee, give the Jazzy Java a try, and you can grab an emergency treat for while you’re on the road!

Angler Mountain Ranch – a great beginning!

Now that you are prepared, make your way to 65 Aerie Drive, Silverthorne, CO.  This beautiful Angler Mountain, $4.4 million home, constructed by TCC Design Build Company, features incredible panoramic views of the Gore and Ten Mile mountain ranges, along with over 7,000 square feet of space, 5 bedrooms and 7 baths. Once you’ve bathed in the glory of this luxurious space, stop by our open house at 58 Stone Fly Dr. On both Saturday, 9.21, & Sunday, 9.22, we’ll be offering coffee and donuts from 10:00am – 12:00pm (in case you forgot to stop by Red Buffalo) and wine & cheese from 12:00 – 2:00pm.

Summit Cove & Keystone

Next, head over to Summit Cove to tour 85 Canyon View Court, by Spirit Builders, and 67 Habitat Court by JST Contracting, LLC. Both properties are situated off Whispering Pines Ranch Rd and offer different interpretations of mountain living. After you finish the tours here, continue on to Keystone for the final property of the day at 31 Arapahoe Trail. This Raptor Construction home takes full advantage of the incredible views of Keystone Mountain. On the way, Saturday, 9.21.19, check out our open house from 10:00am – 1:00pm at 100 Wild Irishman Road. It’s not quite the mansion waiting for you on Arapahoe Trail, but it is a great little mountain retreat!

So, now that we have your Saturday or Sunday planned out, check back next week and see our suggestions for touring more amazing properties in Copper Mountain & Breckenridge. Happy Parading!
