High Country Fun in Dillon & Frisco

June 9, 2017

,

Happy Friday! June is turning into quite the spectacular month in the high country. After having 2 feet of snow fall at the end of May, we all seem to be ready for a bit of fun in the sun and since this weekend’s hiDillon_Farmer_s_Marketgh should be 77 degrees, it feels like summer has already arrived!

Today, why not kick off your weekend festivities at opening day of the Dillon Farmers Market?  The farmer’s market happens every Friday morning from 9:00am – 2:00pm on Buffalo and Main Streets, rain or shine. There are wonderful vendors, music and great food! Just leave Fido at home, he/she is not welcome at the event. Dillon is also hosting the 2017 Lake Dillon Brew Fest at the Dillon Marina Park from 1:00 – 5:00pm on Saturday, June 10th. Tickets are $35.00 to sample brews from 25 Colorado Breweries and listen to music from  Funky Johnson. Stick around for the first free concert of the Saturday night concert series at the Lake Dillon Amphitheater, The Randy Hansen Experience, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

Tonight, from 5:00 – 8:00pm, join the Frisco merchants for the annual summer walk. There will be refreshments, entertainment, book signings and sales. With the mild weather 18813923_10105175782352573_2370785821462027466_nand the full moon, it should be a wonderful evening to hang out with a few friends and support your favorite merchants. June 10th is National Marina Day – I’ll bet you didn’t know that was a thing. Head on down to the Frisco Marina for breakfast and a boat swap. Next weekend is the 24th Annual Colorado BBQ Challenge and the Town of Frisco has been gearing up by sprucing up. Things are looking really great out and about. If you’ve been thinking about volunteering for the BBQ challenge, click the link and complete the application, there is still time!

It’s time for us to get on outside and enjoy this beautiful day! Let us know what you’re up to this weekend and enjoy a little summertime with this video from Michael Franti and Spearhead, it’s a favorite!
